God is not an Object

God is not an object. The moment we make God into something separate—a being, a force, or even an experience—we create division where none exists. We imagine ourselves as seekers and God as the sought, reinforcing the illusion that there is a distance to be crossed. But God is not "out there." God is the very substance of reality itself, both the silent depth of being and the ceaseless unfolding of time.

This is the non-dual embrace: the recognition that absolute and relative, stillness and becoming, transcendence and immanence are not two. The formless ground of all existence does not stand apart from the creative surge of evolution. Enlightenment is not an escape into emptiness, nor is it the denial of the sacred dimension in the flux of life. It is the realization that we, in our deepest essence, are that which we seek.

To surrender to God does not mean handing life over to some external power, as if we were giving up responsibility. It means dissolving the illusion of separation so completely that we become the living presence of God in this world. Surrender is not passive; it is the most radical act of participation. It is allowing the Divine to think through us, move through us, create through us. When we give ourselves fully, without hesitation, we discover that we are not apart from God—we are God, awakening to Herself, alive in the great unfolding mystery of existence.
